Co-working space Refshaleøen
This project explores the architectural potential of 3D printed nylon based polymer reinforced with glass fiber as a structural building system for multi storey architecture. Investigating the intersection of advanced fabrication and scalable construction, the proposal develops a lightweight yet high strength modular system capable of forming load bearing frameworks with a reduced material footprint.
Located at the edge of the food market on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen, the project engages the industrial character of the site while introducing a forward looking construction logic. The design unfolds as a flexible structural grid that adapts to programmatic variation, spatial openness, and vertical expansion. By combining digital manufacturing with architectural precision, the project proposes an alternative to conventional heavy construction, one that is adaptable, efficient, and materially expressive.
